I'm a 21 year old art student who is currently at a senior level in college. I started my college education at Michigan State University pursuing a degree in Art Education and I completed their foundation program and I got a little bit into my major. I continued taking class throughout my summer years and even did a study abroad in Germany and Austria for Art and Music history! After my sophomore year, I transferred over to Grand Valley State University in hopes of joining their Illustration program. I just completed their foundation program (Yay! A foundations program...Again...Lucky me!) and passed and was accepted into Illustration! Woohoo! I will also be graduating with a Art History minor and hopefully some sort of Biology or biomedical sciences minor. I will be attending GVSU for the next 2-3 years due to class sequencing, but I will begin my pre-reqs for Grad school after this next year. I hope to attend a college like Johns Hopkins for Medical Illustration. :)
I got out for the semester and was just so busy trying to get things done for my sister’s wedding.
Expect more art work to be posted in about a week or so. I will be back around my supplies and ready to create more art!

Into the Grand Valley Illustration program!
It’s been a LONG, HECTIC year, but I made it through!
Almost done! Just gotta make the ground look nice. :)
It’s not the best picture (considering light, ACTUALLY having it all in the picture and how sharp it is), but this was all I could get standing on top of a chair trying to get it done myself.
It’s around like 30x40 inches or something. It’s HUGE.
Our prompt was ‘mythic spaces’, so I used my bathroom sink and used the ideas of kappas. It was supposed to be REALLY subtle, but I hope you guys can get it.
My negative space project. We had to choose a space and build a sculpture that would fit in it. In addition, a part of your body must also fit in that space. :) I’m super pleased with how it turned out. It sits alone as an interesting design too!
Last painting for my Color & Design class (technically I re-did an earlier assignment with another composition) This isn’t completely finished. I have painted more on it since (like a highlight on the tail) and etc.
The craft suffered because I had limited time and my foundation review is tomorrow. :( I had to pull an all-nighter just to get a decent amount finished. I’m tired. Class 11-9pm today. Fun.
